Clear terms for cancellations, refunds, and disputes on BarkTranslate translation orders.
BarkTranslate wants every client to be satisfied with their translation. If there is a problem with a delivered translation, the first step is always to ask for a revision. We include up to two revision rounds in every project for corrections of genuine translation errors. If a revision does not resolve a genuine quality problem, we will consider a partial or full refund on a case-by-case basis.
If you cancel an order before BarkTranslate has confirmed the scope and assigned a specialist, you are entitled to a full refund. If you cancel after scope confirmation but before translation has begun, you are entitled to a refund of 80% of the project price (the 20% retained covers administrative and assignment costs). To request a pre-commencement cancellation, contact info@barktranslate.com promptly after payment.
If translation has commenced, refunds are calculated on a proportional basis according to the amount of work completed at the time of cancellation:
Each project includes up to two rounds of revision for genuine translation errors (mistranslations, omissions, terminology errors). Revision requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery. Requests for changes that reflect changes to the source document, changes in client preference, or style preferences are not covered as revisions and will be quoted as additional work.
If you believe a delivered translation contains errors that were not addressed through the revision process, please send a written explanation to info@barktranslate.com within 21 calendar days of delivery, specifying: the alleged errors with reference to source and target text, and the impact of the errors on the use of the translation. We will respond within 5 business days with either a remediation proposal or an explanation of our position. Where a genuine systematic quality failure is established, we will offer a partial or full refund at our discretion.
No refund is payable where:
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days of approval. Stripe processing times depend on your bank or card provider. BarkTranslate will confirm approved refunds in writing by email.
